freaking FINALLY submitted my NYU app.

SIGH. I HATE YOU NYU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH I DON’T EVEN WANT TO GO TO YOUR SCHOOL ANYMORE. jk, thats I lie…please accept me…

SIGH. i had SOOOOOOOO many problems submitting my transcript online!! I figured “oh, i can submit an online transcript, let me save money and scan a transcript and do it online instead of mailing one”. WORST. DECISION. EVER. 

things wrong with my scanned transcript:

- wrong format
- too big
- too many files 

Christine L. sends me a link where i can convert jpg. to pdf. and I’m all “YAY! PROBLEM SOLVED!” NO. first, it was an online program and after converting one page of my transcript I reach my upload limit. Then I made Ivana convert my 2nd page.

then i’m like “OKAY, YAY! SUBMIT!” NO. files are TOO BIG! 

SO THEN, Ivana tried to do her pdf. to doc. to pdf. file to make it smaller,but it looked hella ghetto and photo shopped! Then I tried to download adobe acrobat BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WOULDN’T DOWNLOAD. Then I tried to download ANOTHER program to make files smallers AND FOR SOME REASON IT DIDN’T WORK. 

THEN Dao told me to send her my files because she has made pdf. files smaller but FOR SOME REASON SHE COULDN’T DO THAT WITH MY FILES. 

Then Ivana does her pdf. to doc. to photo shop to whatever (IDK what she did) to make the files smaller and it looks kinda photo shopped but at this point I don’t even care. 

So I try and upload my ghetto transcripts and the online application will only allow me to upload ONE DOCUMENT (my transcript is 2 pages and are  two  files). T___T are you kidding me?!?! 

SO THEN, I download ANOTHER program that is suppose to be able to merge pdf. files together to make ONE pdf. BUT THEN FOR SOME REASON IT WASN’T ABLE TO DO THAT WITH MY FILES BECAUSE OF SOMETHING I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. 

Then I try to download adobe acrobat AGAIN. and FOR SOME REASON, IT HATES ME AND WONT PROPERLY DOWNLOAD. IDK! IDK! IDK! 

and now….i just uploaded one page of my transcript under the academic section and then uploaded my 2nd page in additional documents. SIGH. when i look over the app in pdf. it looks like a completed application, so IT BETTER BE OKAY. SIGH. and im going to mail a paper copy just in case. 

I SHOULDA JUST MAILED A PAPER COPY IN THE FIRST PLACE. I JUST WANTED TO SAVE 4O SOMETHING CENTS ON STAMP BUT LOOK WHERE IT GOT ME!! 

IS THIS WHAT MY FORTUNE MEANT WHEN IT SAID I WOULD FACE DIFFICULTIES?! IS THIS THE TIGER IM CARRYING THROUGH THE JUNGLE??! <— went to the temple and asked if I would get into NYU and it said “you are traveling through the jungle carrying a tiger. you will be sweating and exhausted but if you keep trying you’ll make it”. WHAT IS THIS TIGER!!?

can’t believe I had to involved 3 other ppl to help me with this. SIGH. thank goodness for my awesome friends!
